The Stanch 600 commercial stairlift has manually folding arms, a button for the automatic powered footrest fold, and the seat that manually folds down. Key controlled operation is a code requirement to prevent unauthorized use. Constant pressure on the directional button will send the stairlift to the desired landing. The stairlift is also equipped with an emergency stop button as well as audio and visual alerts indicating the stairlift is in use. A rack and pinion drive system, weight capacity of 350 lbs and travel speeds of approximately 17 feet per minute are standard features. The soft start and stop motor slows down the stairlift before the landing for optimal comfort. At the top landing the chair has manual swivel to allow the user the safest way of getting on and off the chair. Folding up the chair when not in use allows for maximum staircase space for foot traffic. Commercial stairlifts by Estate Elevator in partnership with Stannah Canada allow for commercial spaces in Ontario to become accessible. Click the image or HERE for our product video.

To operate the stairlift, insert the key, manually fold down the stairlift arms, seat and footrest and put on your seatbelt. Choose your desired direction by using the toggle switch on the armrest. Constant pressure operation is needed for this stairlift, so you must hold the switch to for the length of the ride. Anti-slip foot rest with obstacle sensors will stop the stairlift if something is detected on the stairs. The stairlift automatically stops at the landing. Equipped with a retractable seatbelt and swivel and lock seat at the top landing are just some of the features of this stairlift. Manually swivel the seat back into riding position, fold up the arms, seat and footrest and remove the key. The stairlift can also be operated from the hall call stations, which are also keyed controlled. Hold down the direction you want the stairlift to travel and keep it folded up until its next use.
